Where we came from
Flaunt began in a small garage printing pens and promotional products as a part time interest of the owners. Like most businesses whose owners really enjoy what they do it quickly outgrew its humble beginnings and so the story really begins. Two successive moves to larger and larger buildings, the constant addition of technology, the addition of a second branch in Tauranga and third in Hamilton and 18 years has made Flaunt in to a highly regarded and respected supplier across all industries. Flaunts focus on the customer and the service it provides to those customers had been and will always be the backbone of the company. Honest, friendly and reliable is how the company and its people are described.
The company is still 100% family and New Zealand owned, still buying gear and still looking for ways to improve and be better. Good enough is never good enough.
No business can operate in any market at any time without the people. The company has outstanding people in both branches who are dedicated to not only the company but the customers. There is a combined knowledge now of 80 years experience which means a lot. We have seen a lot of companies and indviduals try and enter the industry but quickly disappear because of a lack of experience and knowledge.
Flaunt’s strength not only comes from its buying power within the industry but the fact it does all its own branding. In a crowded market place there needs to be a point of difference and this is ours. Flaunt controls turnaround times, quality and takes ownership of every job. Time and time again we hear the “we waitied 4 weeks”, or “the job was wrong and they blamed someone else” from new customers fed up with tardy suppliers who just don’t care. Flaunt does care about every order and every job, beacuse behind every purchase order is a person and ultimately that person is YOU.
Flaunts purpose is simple. To help our customers grow through great branding on the right products delivered on time.
There is an old saying “if you want to make God smile…… put a plan in place”. Two or three recessions and a global meltdown over the last 18 years means we are honest enough to say we don’t know what the future holds. What we do know is we plan to be around for a long time yet, adding more people, new technology and more branches.
